Feltmakers Skills:
Texture & Colour

A 4-week course designed to inspire your creativity by teaching you how to use a range of wonderful fibres to create textural, colourful, exciting pieces of work using wet felting techniques.

Experience Day



This full day workshop is a fantastic introduction to the ancient craft of feltmaking.  You will get to explore different fibres and experiment with wet felting techniques whilst creating 2 beautiful items to take home at the end of the day.

Introduction to
Spinning



This half day workshop is a super introduction to the art of hand spinning with a spinning wheel. You will have the opportunity to try different types of wheel and practice handling the fibres whilst creating your first skein of yarn to take home with you.

Beading 


Project based beading and bead jewellery workshops
for all,  from one hour taster sessions to multi-day challenging pieces.

Felting


Project based wet felting workshops for all, from one hour taster sessions to multi-day challenging items.

Beading Club
Workshops

We welcome beginners and more experienced beads to our monthly beading club sessions which are fun, friendly, sociable small groups. Each month there will be a new, original design by Kate for you to make, or you can choose from our back catalogue of patterns to help develop your beading skills and creativity. Kate has over 12 years experience teaching beading and loves to help people create beautiful things.

Workshop fee is £10 per session.  
This includes 1 pattern and Kate's tuition.  Tea/coffee & biscuits are provided and you will need to bring a packed lunch as there is no shop in the village.  You are welcome to bring beads from your stash to use, or can purchase what you need on the day.  Other dates may be available for private groups, please contact us to discuss options.
